Clients
The nation’s oldest charter school support organization, the Charter Schools Development Center (CSDC) remains the most comprehensive resource center for charter schools anywhere in the country. Our leadership trainings, publications, and consulting services offer our clients the experience and knowledge of over 15 years of charter school start-up, operational support, and advocacy. We are recognized as the leading experts in charter school law and policy, finance, school design, charter authorizing, governance, and personnel. Our staff has assisted with the drafting of the charter laws in over 20 states across the country and play a prominent role in the decision making of school reform policy at both the state and national level.
We have worked with hundreds of charter school development groups with the start up of their charter schools and each year assist the hundreds of CSDC school members with their ongoing operations. We frequently conduct school performance evaluations for charter schools and charter authorizers and provide comprehensive trainings for school leaders and school boards who are seeking to maximize the performance of their schools. CSDC firmly believes that all students deserve a high quality education and we are committed to helping our clients achieve their goals.

Here is what some of our clients have said about us:
“My school continues to thrive thanks to the expert advice we have gotten while being a member of CSDC. When sticky situations arise, I have been able to count on them again and again for accurate and practical information.”
“My school wouldn’t have an accurate budget without the latest funding numbers from CSDC. I rely on the budget and policy updates to keep my school on track. I read every one of the email updates I receive from CSDC and attend the Annual Update each fall.”
“The district that we submitted our charter petition to seems to scrutinize the petitions like no other. Thanks to CSDC’s help in writing our charter and guidance getting started, we were able to successfully get our charter approved and our school up and running…thanks CSDC!”
