Assemblymember Mia Bonta (D-Oakland) has introduced a bill that would make catastrophic changes to the Charter School Facilities Grant Program.
Among the bill’s worst provisions is language requiring a deed restriction on the property and greater restrictions on the already-limited reimbursement that charter schools may receive.
If passed, this bill will have a disastrous impact on nearly 200 charter schools (listed below).
CSDC is asking ALL California charter school advocates to send an email to their Assemblymembers requesting a “no” vote on this measure.
