CSDC collected all its governance content and put it on one webpage! The page is the place to find comprehensive services for charter boards, including links to on-demand trainings, quick guides, toolkits, sample board policies, a governing board calendar, and a catalog of previous Board Bulletins.
Boarding Pass Podcast
Season one of CSDC's Boarding Pass Podcast features a ten-episode series created for new and returning board members. CSDC’s Caitlin O’Halloran Hellar interviews and discusses renewal and succession planning, preparing for the first board meeting, board member financial oversight responsibilities, and more with charter leaders! Governance Quick Guides & Toolkits
Governance Quick Guides & Toolkits are a new and growing resource for CSDC Members. Responding to member requests for easy-to-use resources, CSDC created bite-sized morsels of important (and basic) governance information. Currently, there are a dozen one-to-two-page documents outlining the process for onboarding new board members, running board meetings, and understanding the state budget—to name just a few of the many topics!
