Mandates that the week that includes April 28 will be known as "Workplace Readiness Week" at all public high schools, including charter schools. In observence, schools must provide information to students on their rights as workers on topics such as child labor, compensation, and unemployment insurance. Additionally, it is mandatory that beginning August 1, 2024, any minor seeking signature on a work permit be issued a document clearly explaning basic labor rights extended tow workers.
