Earlier this year, California State Legislators introduced more than 2,000 new bills. CSDC’s Laura Kerr reviewed them all and found a few designed to hurt charter schools.
Here at CSDC, we are working hard to defeat the bills and to get the word out about the issues they create and this issue of the Board Bulletin is part of our effort to ensure that charter school board members understand these laws and their potential impact. As charter school board members, it’s also important to understand how your support and involvement are urgently needed to kill bad bills.
