Sneak Peek at the Schedule and Meet the Mentors

With CSDC’s annual summer training, the Leadership Intensive (June 24-27, 2024 in Sacramento, CA), right around the corner, this year’s program is taking shape.

CSDC is excited to share an overview of this year’s schedule, including a list of the presenters and mentors making this year’s program an especially impactful one.

Registration – which is significantly discounted for CSDC Member Schools and Authorizers – closes next week on Thursday, May 16.

This year’s program features over 30 hours of instructor-led trainings, with numerous presentations by CSDC’s expert staff, including CSDC Founder & Executive Director, Eric Premack.

New in 2024: Ongoing Mentorship

CSDC is excited to announce a new benefit of Leadership Intensive included in the price of registration at no additional cost: ongoing mentorship from an experienced California charter school leader.

Mentees will meet their mentors during the Leadership Intensive and then connect virtually for a 60-minute session each month throughout the 2024-25 school year.

And for those mentees also planning to attend the 2024 CSDC Conference, CSDC will host space so that mentors and mentees can catch-up in-person in Sacramento this fall.^**

For many school leaders – especially those new to their roles – it can be lonely at the top. Mentorship provides a great opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and receive strategic guidance from experienced leaders who understand the challenges and opportunities of leadership in the charter schools sector.
